AAAAAHHHH I LOVE ROMANCE SOO BAD!!!!
Much preferred this version in comparison to the 1995 adaptation, maybe because I’m older but mostly because the age gap is not as visually atrocious.
Elinor and Edward’s romance of course was the highlight of the movie!!!! I adore them!!! Their chemistry is just sooo good and they’re soooo perfect!!
Unfortunely I still don’t care for Marianna and Brandon’s romance idk they’re just so uninteresting to me. I was shipping Eliza and Brandon even more and she wasn’t even in the movie 😭. 
I did like Brandon exponentially more in this version. Marianna of course I adore my bundle of joy!!! Her relationship with Elinor and their sisterhood is so dear to me! 
Willoughby too was brilliant!!! Frank Dillane was such a golden pick HE’S PERFECT!!!! Fiona Shaw also made Mrs. Jennings sooo much more likable she’s sooo charming!
The photography in this movie was sooo stunning too, every shot was soo interesting and beautiful!!! 
Also kudos to the hairstyling, everyone had the most gorgeous hair ever but especially Marianna’s I sooo enjoyed how free her hair always seemed.
Also this goes without saying cause it’s a Jane Austen adaptation but I love the writing it is soooo beautiful!!!
I do feel like I might benefit from a rewatch, I get the feeling this is one of those films I need to watch minimum twice to love it at its full potential.

Kai has always and WILL ALWAYS be my favorite villain!!! He is sooo HOT and funny!!! He’s perfect I adore him MY MANNNN!!!!! I love Damon’s friendship with Bonnie SO MUCH!!! I really loved seeing a more calmed settled Delena they’re so precious to me!!! Unfortunately I remebered Jo and Alaric cuter but they’re still cute! Not upset about Liv and Tyler they’re very cute! Stefan and Carline are SO FREAKING ADORABLE I LOVE THEM!!!! No-humanity Caroline is sooo underrated she’s definitely my favorite no-humanity vampire! The ending is one of the craziest endings a season could have I am in pain😭 I need more Enzo!!!

My favorite season for a fucking reason!!!! I absolutely love the Augustine storyline! Peak DELENA!!!!! Caroline and Stefan inching together closer and closer!!! And Enzo MY ENZO!!! I love him soooo much!!! I actually forgot how good his accent is he’s sooo hot man 😩! I absolutely love Katherine back as villain and her half-redemption arc! Only thing I don’t enjoy about this season is Jeremy and Bonnie.

Incapable of not sobbing every watch of this episode 😭 I love them sooo much
