Bugonia

While I knew that this was a remake of some Korean film called save the green planet or something. This was amazing. Complete and utterly perfect. The cinematography with the wide and silent shots was great and captured the setting well. The score added a lot to the movie and helped the preformances so much. This is Emma Stones best role that I've seem. The way she plays this victim and innocent charcter is perfect. She still has this smug and cocky voice when talking to Ted and I loved it. All of the preformances were peak. The squared frame of the film makes it feel like a Wes Anderson film with a twisted plot. The ending was so shocking to me. The whole time I was thinking that it wouldn't work if she was actually an alien. But the fake out with the bomb and the ambulance came out of knowhere. The ending was also incredibly filmed and showed. Best movie of the year this was amazing.
