Before Sunset

Ughhh this movie has such a nostalgic feeling to it. It really screams the notion of “what if?” It was so fascinating to see how Jessie and Céline changed in the 9 years they were apart and devastating to find out what happened when they were supposed to meet. The banter between Ethan and Julie is so organic and witty. I felt like I was intruding. This feeling was elevated by how he stares at her. Like she’s culmination of all his dreams and hopes. I was so wrapped up in this film I didn’t even realize it was the end until Jessie said “I know.” It was so short but so wonderful!
