beautiful film about the power of art and grief
wowowow. when the film cut to black at the end all i could hear around me were just individual sobs from every corner of the theater… like. wow.
Jessie Buckley gave easily one of my favorite performances of the year and I am so glad that oscar has already been engraved with her name cause god all i am gonna be thinking about for the next few days is her cries for her mother
As for Paul Mescal I thought he was absolutely PHENOMENAL.. I am so mad he was snubbed of an oscar nom… Paul I will get you one myself
i highly recommend going to see this in theaters if you can if it’s near you because watching it on streaming won’t do it justice (side note: my theaters AC was broken so it was hot and humid and smelled like feet but it was worth it)
