Earthlings
Extremely well made and deeply affecting, Earthlings is required viewing for everyone. The extent to which animals are abused and exploited is massive. This film aims to demonstrate some of the ways in which we destroy the world and the life around us. Regardless of change in practise and the changes in our society that have risen since this film's creation and the changes that may potentially occur in the future, it remains relevant and accurate. The act of using an animal for human satisfaction is wrong, and messages such as this are interlaced between both visions of the majesty of nature and the horrors we inflict to suppress it. Accompanied by the music of Moby, I found my thoughts spilling through the frame of the picture's sonic landscape, haunting and reflective. Overall, an experience I will not forget, even already vegan and familiar with such topics. Watch this film and others like it. Go vegan.
