Greaser's Palace

Man I really dig this style of blunt, brute force comedy and when paired with a mirage of genuinely gorgeous and affecting imagery of the desert as Greaser's Palace does, it wins me over completely. Surreal, absurd, ideas thrown into the sand with no rhyme or reason but put together it all makes sense as some distant critique of leadership, myth, religion, capitalism. Such a neat, weird little film.
