really enjoyed the style of this movie. the soundtrack and camera work made it a lot more interesting, also the time jumps building up to the final match were cool and built a lot of tension. very unique, but probably a little overrated.

legendary de niro performance and sandra bernhard was totally insane. i can’t believe how good this was.

ed harris is awesome. i had no idea about the US’s involvement in Nicaragua and i have no doubt that this movie is exactly how everything went down. loved the ending and the soundtrack was super cool.

fun rewatch, feel like this movie has a lot of energy and good flow that works perfectly for a super intricate heist with all these different characters. probably could have been like 10 minutes shorter, i didn’t care much for the whole romance thing and the ending wrapped up a little too nicely but this is still a solid movie.
