Watching the commentary track edition of this to celebrate its 8th birthday! This is my most beloved favorite film ever & I love it dearly, always! Second time listening/watching to the commentary & it’s so fun. I love when Jeff Goldblum pops in & shares his infinite silliness w/the world

I’m having the edible that makes Dance Magic Dance the greatest song of a generation

I think the people on Twitter who were acting like this is the worst film ever created just haven’t seen enough movies or something because this was Fine for the most part! I’ve certainly seen worse, but I’ve also seen better.  The film is brought down, in my opinion, by a few different moments & dialogue that made me cringe (mostly in the first half of the film). Also, sometimes the writing felt poorly explained, in my opinion, as well. However, there were many parts it does handle well & those made up for it. I thought the second half of the film was pretty good but the first half I was like oh goodness lmao
