Shutter Island

Such an amazing screenplay. When encountering someone we call insane, we don't really listen to them, because their reality is different from ours. But this movie has managed to reverse the script. The entire movie you accept everything you see as fact, just to be told it was all a lie. Of course you wouldn't believe it, the doctor even gets frustrated trying to explain it, he says something like: “I've been living in this delusion of yours for 2 years.” It made us, the viewers, the crazy person, and feeling that despair of knowing no one around you believes you, is something that Scorsese has somehow been able to pull off.
