The Celebration
The Celebration is just a seriously good film. Thomas Vinterberg keeps it simple, and that’s what makes it work so well. The pacing is tight, never dragging, and the tension builds in a way that feels natural and real.
The cast is amazing across the board - every performance feels honest. And I love how it’s shot: the handheld camera, the grain, the raw look of it all. It feels intimate, like you’re right there in the room.
Uncomfortable, intense, and completely gripping. Easy five stars.
