Like previous Friday films, the highlights of these movies is what they decide to change in each movie, to give a partially new identity from the copy and paste plot and story beats that remains 5 movies into the series. I have extremely mixed feelings towards this movie. It’s almost a 50:50 split between decent scenes and actual slop. The change of setting away from Crystal lake is a must this far into the franchise, but would’ve improved if they expanded on the variety of characters living at the facility with Tommy, rather then creating random characters for the sake of kills and run time. The switch up in plot is an improvement, with a slightly convoluted but welcome twist to finish up the movie. I look forward to zombie Jason going forward. PS: Reggie is the GOAT

Perfect movie. Everyone AND their pets must watch!!

I love Brittany Murphy

A much needed improvement after Glass Onion. Slightly lost me in the final act, but the final 5-10 minutes left me somewhat satisfied regarding the conclusion of these characters. The environments are perfect and I can never praise Steve Yedlin enough for how he captures said environments. In all 3 of the current films in the franchise he has done amazing, but has excelled especially with Wake Up Dead Man, with its neo noir architecture and misty woodland. Rian, get your ass back to your writing desk, I need a new Knives Out movie immediately
