When I tell you I haven’t seen cinematography like that in SO long. All the hate about the origin story and how it’s depicted in the film etc, made me feel like I was going to hate this film. But, yes it’s not as accurate as possible but I mean stories change over time, nothing we can do about that (Bartlett’s War of the Ghosts reference 😛). The music as well, the sound effects. I actually get over it and I’m going to watch it again with my brother in IMAX 🫡

Cringey, but it’s so nostalgic. The parallels really got me. I watched this for the first time when I was 13 in year 8, now I’m 18 and the same age as Nick, going to uni in September. I hate that.

I loved this film SO much. Usually with films like this I can predict what’s going to happen, and I did at some parts but for the most part I was involved in the plot twist. Rocky may just be my favourite character ever, of all time. Bless his little soul, he deserves anything and every thing good in the world. Didn’t cry as I expected, but I did tear up at certain parts. I think if I wasn’t building my Lego, I would’ve cried because I would’ve been paying more attention. “Grace say Grace will die. Rocky fix.” This was the line that got me, knowing the context makes this so so sad.

Brokeback mountain but in Bradford. Loved it though, will be rewatching ASAP
