Myles Lane

this movie has serious subject matter but the tone and acting is of a disney original movie. it legit felt like the parts in holes when they would go back in time. genuinely liquid nyquil.

I was not expecting such a banger. Sometimes you're like its old so it can only be so good but this movie is so good and has a certain look and charm to it that you could only get from it being made in the 70s. I love watching stuff like this as well because gives you a broader appreciation for older actors that you're constantly told are legends. I've seen Scarface I've seen Heat but this for me has been his best performance that I've witnessed so far. The slow unraveling of his life as he dedicates it to this impossible task was an amazing watch and the fact that was real made it hit 10x more. One of my favorite 70s films probably number one honestly.

manchester by the sea with a happy ending

This doesn't have the dialogue of the trial of the chicago or the directing of oppenheimer. its not bad but it has no real character to it making it worth a rewatch.
