super engaging well produced horror just don’t question the creature cgi and how no one’s done a single bit of research for this super viral case on the cult symbols or paused the videos and zoomed in a frame

one of the best musicals of all time

a great identity for horrors and slashers, like other cult or critical acclaimed teen slashers. however i just think compared to the range of films we have available nowadays it doesn’t hold up to give me the fear or interest i can receive in countless horrors which may just replicate this. even with a great score and some great scenes, the film is bogged down by poor acting and a uninteresting cast.however in the end when it centers on scaring, it does truly show a great insight into how good this film can be. i just wish that this happened more often. when john carpenter gets it right he gets it right, the whole final showdown with jamie lee curtis is horror at its finest. i just wish i cared more for the other 3 quarters of the film
