- the best movie of 2025 by FAR - the changing of the aspect ratio throughout the film is genuinely so underrated - Hailee Steinfeld and Micheal B Jordan are a POWER couple and chemistry is insane; needs to be in more movies together - Genuinely kept forgetting Micheal didn't have a twin irl bc the way he differentiates between Smoke and Stake through body language, speech, style etc. is generational - Ryan Cooglers best movie

*This review may contain spoilers.* i feel like this is such an overhated movie. yes, it wasn't as good as Superman but it wasn't at all BAD. in most female-predominant casts in marvel movies, the reviews seem to be worse than male-predominant cast and I feel like that's a bit INSANE. this movie, like superman, tackled deep issues like trafficking girls to repopulate their species and I don't know why but I feel like it got too real for some fragile men. also I don't really get the role of Jason mamoa either. I also do think the plot could have a little more to it bc I feel like some parts did drag. I believe there are worse movies than this in Marvel as this wasn't bad.
