This shit slaps

A fantastical film about a fantastical man. Pulls no punches.

Nothing is more beautiful than finding a connection in a lost place.

We never really consider it, but much of our perception of our reality is shaped by the brush strokes of pop culture. Tarantino brilliantly plays with the idea of fantasy vs reality in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. By introducing elements so prevalent in reality, like an aging actor failing to adapt to modern cinema or even having footage of the real Sharon Tate, Tarantino make us the audience open to believing elements of his story. Was Bruce Lee actually an arrogant dick? Was Sharon Tate really murdered by the Manson family? That is the power of Hollywood.
