The Eclipse

the eclipse is a story about aye constantly constantly fighting to help akk escape his self-imposed prison, but instead of battering at the gates he climbs inside with akk and helps him dismantle it brick by brick by his side. i'm genuinely not sure i've seen another narrative about internalized homophobia that is so centered around respecting a closeted character's reasons and agency the eclipse is so so committed to making space for each character's perspective even where they conflict and treating them with kindness and understanding and hope.... IT WAS A DREAM AN WE ALL FELL FOR IT BECAUSE IS WAS SO PERFECT !!! (Also FirstKhao’s first on screen kiss a legend was born.) And to those three twinks oh i fear you carried the show
