we’re all so lucky there are people out there aching to tell stories :,) art is the extension of what you feel inside. i think i gravitate towards film because once in a while i get lucky and stumble upon a movie that portrays humans in such an honest light. being a witness to human vulnerability is wonderful! i am suddenly not the outsider i believed i was. all my messy thoughts and feelings finally feel coherent because they are seen on a screen. i love film <3 i have so much empathy for sabzian it’s crazy. love when art forces me to confront my capacity for things. also love that i couldn’t distinguish what was real and fiction. art mirrors real life fr. will be getting into more of kiarostami’s work!
