Citizen Kane

“I am Charles Foster Kane!” I don’t think I’ve been more interested in a fictional biopic of a fictional man ever in my life. The dialogue was snappy. The cinematography even though black and white was stunning. But the story itself is so heartfelt, the fact that he’s a man who had everything but has nothing is such a interesting angle.  He just wanted people to love him, he just wanted a normal life in the cottage with his parents. He never asked for any of it. It’s incredible.
