The Eight Mountains

I don’t think I have felt this way about a film since my viewing of Waves at the cinema. This is the best shot film I’ve ever seen, the 3:4 ratio makes the mountains look big but the relationship between the two leads being a lot closer. The story is grounded compared to the immense size of the mountains. It’s so grounded but emotional oh god is it  emotional. I love this film. This film felt soo personal for me. Time to read the book.
