The Prestige
Overall enjoy, but I have some thoughts. The little subtleties of foreshadowing and being on the edge of my seat knowing something else is coming is so well done in Nolan films and gets me every time. I LOVE the relationship between Hugh Jackman and Christian Bales characters and the need to one up each other is a classic but they just do it so well and more elevated. However, the (minor spoiler?) addition of a supernatural-esque twist makes me a little annoyed because it’s supposed to be magic and I would argue that is not. But still absolutely enjoyed it, can’t even be mad about the supernatural because it’s just so cool and creative. Cutter is the best, both women deserved better, Nolan is a genius.
