Finding Emily

idc this film is actually PURFEC. So tightly written and just cute and sweet and adorable and heartfelt. I’ve not watched a film in a while that warmed my heart as much as this did. Never watched a film where i actually know the places they’re at before, call me that one leo meme the way i was pointing at the screen. Took a genuinely interesting story and used it perfectly to craft a gorgeous love story. Awesome use of sound and an amazing soundtrack (especially that atmosphere cover). That joyful scene in the car with his brother made me genuinely tear up. And it’s genuinely funny with two fabulous performances! Give me 20 more Manchester rom coms rn.
