Psycho

One of those classics i only just got around to watching for myself. That iconic music queue is still totally frightening, especially in that overhead shot, despite how overused it is now. I adore this pacing and structure which doesn’t really conform to the concept of a bigger and better final act. Honestly I didn’t really need that lengthy explanation by the end, maybe cause nowadays this concept is not as novel? Perkins is delightful and even now you can understand why Hitchcock was praised for essentially creating this genre. Some GORGEOUS camerawork here too it’s genuinely so cool to see how innovative he was.
