WALL·E
How can a film where pretty much the only dialogue is “Wall-e” “Eve” and “plant” be so wholesome, emotional and articulate? Really enjoyed it, Wall-e is the GOAT and his kindness and thoughtfulness permeated the whole film. And the way in which he helped certain people on the ship turn away from their screens and live rather than just survive, chefs kiss. The dancing through space with the fire extinguisher was great too and so were the squad of outcast robots, especially Mo (Mr Foreign Contaminant). I watched this as a kid and found it boring and uninspiring. As an adult, I found it excellent and heartfelt.
