Aftersun

The movie left me with both a sense of comfort and emptiness. I think what’s comforting about the movie is just seeing the relationship between the both of them, especially with him trying his best to provide for her even though he doesn’t have enough money, but her also somewhat accepting that. The ending left me confused at first, I was waiting for some build up, but I think it’s showing how the little moments we have with our loved ones are what’s important. Also, the last dance scene gave me chills. Overall, it’s a well written movie, I really enjoyed it. I understand the hype it has.
