Perfect plane movie to be honest. And maybe I’ve been away from her too long but I did cry.

*Take this with a grain of salt I watched this at a drive inI wish I connected to this the way I’ve been seeing others have. I think superhero movies are always such a huge hit or miss for me due to me not having a huge connection to comic book source material. I either need them to lean to Guardians Of The Galaxy or The Batman in tone and any in between kind of doesn’t grab me the way I would like. Due to my lack of knowledge I felt like this movie had a strange way of starting out. It assumes the audience knows a ton of general knowledge about Superman in order to tug at your heart strings and to make that ending work. The comedy truly only worked for me a handful of times in this movie, which is wild to me cause I am typically all in on James Gunn’s comedy. The performances were all great and everyone was putting in all they could. I just left a bit disappointed but maybe this wasn’t for me. I’ve always been more of a Batman girl anyway.
