i was so sad when matilda’s parents freely let miss honey adopt her. and her mother’s words: “i never understood you not one little bit” made me sob. how couldn’t she tried to understand her own daughter? and how her father misspelled her name with melinda?? i just wanted to hug matilda. i’m glad she has miss honey by her side
