What. The. Fuck. I think this was the best movie I’ve ever seen. Also the craziest. The opening is so great, you get hooked immediately and you get a great introduction to the characters, which all are amazing by the way. Especially Nellie. This sounds kinda cringe but I just love how this movie makes you appreciate the art of film and filmmaking.  I really can’t decide if I think this movie is a comedy or a psychological movie or a thriller or romance or something else. It’s a little bit of everything I guess. I just can’t stop thinking about how beautiful this movie is. The dirt and the blood and everything else that is so brutal about it just makes you feel such strong emotions for the characters and the whole film really. I don’t know if that makes any sense. At one point I thought this was a horror movie, and in almost every scene I thought “oh now they’re gonna die”, and I think that was one of the reasons why I thought it was so great. The scene with blackface was very disturbing, but if you watch this movie I think you should also watch the interview that the actor did when he talked about that scene, because watching that made me understand the purpose of the whole scene. I was kind of confused about the ending though, although I kind of understand that it’s about appreciating film? Or atleast that’s what I thought. The whole movie was a bit weird, so I suppose it fit to have a weird ending. I also kind of have a crush on Diego after watching this.
