Absolutely stunning, the cinematography is amazing, managing to bring so many details to a black and white movie. The removal of the chaos outside when Cleo is in the operation room is haunting and really puts us into the pain of that scene. The quote ”we are alone. Whatever they say, women are always alone” is so poignant but ultimately untrue, because even if the men in their life disappointed them, at the end of the day the women in the movie still had each other and the kids.  Also I love movies that barely uses music and lets the scene speak for itself, it makes you truly exist in the world, not in an edited version of it
