Hereditary
To begin with I’m gonna start writing this review before the movie even is done cuz I have so much to say. ( and it for the reason of it being incredible without me even finishing the movie)
Overall thoughts:When it comes to psychology horror it normally doesn’t work on me, but the first 30 minutes of this film has made me feel more confused and startled than any movie ever has. The scene where Charlie died made me gasp so much, I was just in complete shock and didn’t know what to say. Basically I’ve never been this shocked by a kill in any movie I have ever seen and I have never been this physically disturbed after any movie.
I really love how they act in this movie, I thought they were insanely good at adapting in to their characters emotion. The only movie I’ve seen that has had almost as good acting as this one is get out and I still don’t think it is close to hereditary
Scenes I thought was most disturbing:The scene I hated the most is when she walked in to her sons room and there was insects in his mouth, and after that when they started talking a bout a miscarriage.
And holy shit not to mention the scene when they tried to “summon” Charlie. when he started to have trouble breathing, glasses were thrown and the light just suddenly going up in fire for a second.
And when Charlie took over the mom I was so confused, not disturbed or scared just mostly confused.
the scene when Charlie was in Peters room and the dog came in and started barking, and some random hands just started to pull his head.
Conclusion:I overall think this movie is absolutely amazing and doesn’t miss anything that a psychological horror should have, I will recommend this to every person I possibly can.
And to end this review if I really need to train to write reviews better because i am not good at all at writing them haha.
