Arrival

i'm beyond speechless. amy adam's performance was groundbreaking. seeing her character on screen just made me want to study every language there is, and just become as smart as she is. i love how they portrayed aliens in this; not as monsters, but instead as something beyond human. if i had the chance then i'd love to learn their language, it just seems so beautiful and filled with emotion.
