3-3.5/5 Listen, I did not enjoy the plot as I really wanted too but there are lots of things I appreciate. 1. The build up for the mother was great, I know that many movies tend to ignore that build up and just expect the audience to be sad. But this movie had the added scenes that attached me to the mom.  2. Sound. The range from music, stingers and ADR (and many more). It was perfect. It kept me interested and intrigued with the story, it was placed wonderfully that I did not expect it so I did get scared. The sounds were terrifying. 3. Editing. I really liked the editing, some parts seemed a bit chopped and misplaced at the beginning but after like two or three chopped views, it started to work a lot better. The scenes of the red perspective and the zombies were very scary.  4. The plot was far from what I was expecting but it is a reminder that these people do have their own problems while having to deal with external problems like zombies. I wish they added more to the zombies but it’s alright. Possibly more scenes after the kid meets the new group of people but it does make a great entrance for another film.  Again this confusion might just be because I haven’t watched the other movies (I will get in that).
