Superman

I knew David Corenswet was going to be the perfect Superman the moment he got casted. Everything about this movie is just a breath of fresh air, it definitely made me appreciate Superman more because he’s literally one of the OG superheroes. The hope and kindness that he wants to bring to the world is just so inspiring and the actor’s bright eyes and perfect cadence in his speech just makes it so convincing. His chemistry with Lois Lane is so perfect it just makes me love LOVE. She’s amazing she’s cool AND she’s punk rock, and not to mention the fact that she definitely brought out the nosy little girl in me who wanted to be a journalist. The themes of a simple immigrant man who only hopes to bring peace and kindness to everyone as well as choosing to stand up against the oppressors being in a colorful superhero movie that kids can enjoy is something that we needed for a long time now and it’s such an important message to get across to the younger generation to which I hope they appreciate.
