What a film by the maestro Satyajit Ray!!!!! All the characters acted so well, especially Madhabi Mukherjee — wow! She was speaking with her eyes even without uttering a single word in some scenes WOAH. And Soumitra Chatterjee — well, it goes without saying, he has always been my favorite. You can truly feel every character and what’s going on in their hearts and minds. You don’t feel like an audience member rather you feel like a part of the plot itself. I’m so glad I chose to watch this movie while feeling sick — it warmed my heart with a hint of coldness.
