so do all casting directors looking for someone to play the evil manager just have Paul giamatti on speed dial? i genuinely sobbed throughout this entire movie. it’s actually insane that Paul Dano went unrecognized for this, i think it’s one of his most powerful roles. if i had any complaints it was that we didn’t spend the entire movie in the pet sounds recording sessions but that’s just me wanting to hear the album for the millionth time
