Obsession

I finished it over an hour ago and I’m still thinking about it. Very often I finish a film and think I’d like to watch it again someday, but this is the first time I’ve wanted to rewatch one the very next day. It’s a perfect film. I know this is the kind of cringe thing Drake would say, but I literally shouted during one scene, and in at least three others I got chills through my entire body. It was an extraordinary experience, but my desire to watch it again doesn’t come from wanting to relive all of that: I want to rewatch it because it’s an incredible film, with flawless performances, a plot that functions with incredible precision, wonderful dialogue, and cinematography that is not only perfect for this kind of story, but simply beautiful in general.
