I don’t think John Wick direction has ever been this good, pretty great action as always, fantastic visuals/lighting, solid cast characters and performances from around the table. Pretty good spin off tbh, love how Wick wasn’t much of a major player.

The dialogue could definitely be better but I liked it. Jeffery Dean and Jack Quaid feel like a really unexpected pairing but turn out to be pretty great, I can’t really say I prefer either character as they are both pretty good. The film felt too short in specific the start feels a tad rushed.

Cousin: “Who shot you?”Zsa-zsa Korda: “Terrorists from out of town. Help yourself to a hand grenade.”Cousin: “You're very kind.” As a pretty big fan of Wes Andersons work Ive been looking forward to seeing this especially because the cast, but in specific Im talking about Micheal Cera as well as the return of both Cranston and Hanks who just so happened to be a duo in this. Im so excited to see what Anderson comes out with next especially now that Cera is a cast member, Anderson and Cera are like a dream duo come true. To me this is closest to “Grand Budapest” more or less so In the feel of the film, both films go rather darker in terms of Andersons work I find. I think I will definitely need to rewatch this sooner lather than later, the characters are pretty interesting but some of Wes’s weaker ones in my opinion. I think this is definitely one of his weakest films.

For the most part honestly feels like a basic crime movie but the highs are very high and both actors give off pretty great performances, the cast is also pretty great. I would describe myself as a super big fan of the boys (show haven’t read the comic yet) and I am so very excited for what’s to come with Campbells career.
