Aliens

Game over Man, Game Over! I thought that the action and writing itself was on par with the first movie. Sigourney really does nail her role as Ripley. I liked the ways in which this movie developed and built upon the themes from the first. For example she carries past trauma from her experience and this motivates her ironically to confront the aliens again. It also has the corporate dude manifesting. This allows for a clearer target for hatred company wise than in the first movie where it was indirectly through the Ai dude. Speaking of I like how she had mistrust of the new ai character to begin with but ultimately saw redemption towards the end. Helps build nuance around the AI characters in the same way humans are not all the same. Newt was cute too and pretty badass all things considered.  The weakest points were some of the army characters felt so much like a caricature and overacted.
