Lost Highway
Lost Highway is one of the most confusing and fascinating films I've ever seen. I didn’t understand everything that happened, but somehow that made it even better. It’s a film that doesn’t give you clear answers — instead, it pulls you into a dark, dreamlike world where identity, time, and reality fall apart.David Lynch once said that Lost Highway is about a “psychogenic fugue”, which is a mental condition where someone escapes reality by creating a new identity and forgetting their past. And honestly, that idea explains a lot of what happens in the movie. It feels like the main character, Fred, is trying to run away from something horrible he did — and his mind breaks into pieces because of it.The shift between Fred and Pete, the strange videotapes, the Mystery Man, and the way the story loops back to the beginning — all of it is disturbing, but also incredibly fascinating. It’s like being trapped inside someone’s nightmare.Even though I couldn’t always follow what was real or not, the atmosphere and emotions were so strong that I couldn’t look away. Lost Highway isn’t just a movie — it’s an experience. It stays with you long after the credits roll.I LOVE DAVID LYNCH.
