People say The Hobbit is too long, but I hope it is long ! I love watching 13 creatures smaller than me struggle to get back to their home. And I don't care about the CGI. Between that and an old movie with terrible special effects, I'll take CGI any day.

I regret having seen it legally. Even the huge budget can't hide such shitty ideas. Stop trying so hard. You know very well that Ed Gein's story can't last more than three episodes, and if you're going to make stuff up, at least make it believable. Because the chainsaw chase AND the fact that he stops to put on his mask was truly the most miserable and pathetic scene I've ever seen in my entire life. Not to mention the moments when the directors of works inspired by his story appear on screen for no useful purpose whatsoever. It's pointless, long, boring, and really not the place to put it. Let's also forget about the last episode, which gave me the same feeling as the chainsaw scene, but for an hour. How can you think that's a good idea? It's obvious that it's to fill in the gaps and extend the series, but trying to fill in a mediocre miniseries with even more mediocre scenes just makes for a detestable result. And I haven't even mentioned the accuracy of what's shown, because that's where they really lost it. They figured that if they made up three-quarters of the story, it would still be okay.I had to force myself to finish this series, but thanks to it, I discovered how stupid humans can be when it comes to carrying out a project like this. In a word: why?

How I wish there were more beautiful films like this one.
