This was not all that great of a finale. Felt like I wasted almost three years watching this. Many characters ended up staying in the background despite this being a "character focused" show. Ribbit and Kaufmo just show up as an extension for Jax lore and literally nothing else, which I'm also gonna go on a limb and say it's the creator's self insert because the whole fucking thing is just about Jax 😭😭 They all find out they're immortal gods stuck in a place they can never leave where all they can do is just entertain themselves and they all just casually accept it through a PowerPoint presentation, talk about the ending of The Promised Neverland smh. The whole thing was about everyone constantly having an existential crisis because they think they are literally trapped in some weird circus, trying to navigate through all the issues that come from this and see all of your friends "die". All of that build up for 8 episodes just to get a whole lot of nothing 🔥 They also make this big deal out of Caine getting deleted, just to randomly come back and be like "sowwy guys my bad 🥺🥺" and they all just accept that shit too?? Episode one was almost like a psychological thriller? With constant existential dread and overall a very different vibe, last episode felt like a Highschool Musical reenactment, hell they even added a "we're all in this together" lmaoooo A really mundane and a sloppy ending.
