Napoleon
The Longest film i’ve ever watchedFist silent film Oldest film i’ve seen so far and the first film of 2025
Ngl i wanted to start this year with a challenge and i lowkey succeeded bc it took me two days to finish this. But don’t think i tortured myself, bc this was absolutely amazing. Crazy to think that this film was made in 20s, bc it’s so ahead of its time. I fell in love with Albert Dieudonne (napoleon). His acting performance was definitely the highlight of this film. His expressions and manners were so deep and on point, that there was no need for words. Also i loved the use of color and cinematography. The end of act 1 was so phenomenal i still can’t get over it.
overall i’m glad i watched it. i was told that i’m crazy, but it’s okay at least i enjoyed it😭🙏🏻
