Weak Hero
i started reading the webtoon years ago and i am so invested in it in ways you cannot imagine, but this show is on another level. even though I knew how it’ll end, i was still so hurt by the ending, it felt as though my heart was ripped apart.
also, I feel like the obvious beginning of the butterfly effect of pain and hurt was beom suk when he accepted to stick the sleep sticker thingy onto si eun during the exam, if he’d said no he would’ve gotten billed, yes, but soo ho would’ve stood up for him as he did for the other dude, and he would still form the trio by introducing beom suk to si eun, then the gang wouldn’t have gotten involved, young yi wouldn’t have “stolen” soo ho from beom suk, however, young yi and the other kids would still be working for the gangster dude, but oh well. nevertheless, if we want a real source of evil, it would be assemblyman oh, if he hadn’t adopted beom suk for his own selfish and evil reasons, or at least hadn’t been abusive towards him and treated him like the kid he is, all of this truly wouldn’t have happened.
other than that, watching the fight scenes irl is a whole different experience than reading comics about them, also i could see everything explained in the webtoon demonstrated in front of me in the series and that made me even more excited while watching the fight scenes!
