Late Spring

This is only my 2nd Ozu film, along with Tokyo Story, and I can already say that he is one of my favorite directors. The human element and way that his films scratch your soul is indescribable. He uses the camera to make us feel like an observer and shows us the beauty and pain of life. I can’t wait to dive deeper into his filmography.
