Before Sunrise

I love a good conversational movie. I love the long takes. They are so beautiful especially since the flow of the conversations feel so natural. The scene with the two of them sitting side by side in the little subway car, playing Q&A, was just great. I remember hearing somewhere that the scene when they are listening to the record player was just Hawke and Delpny looking at each other not in character. I find that crazy to believe because it fits so beautifully. If I had to complain about something I’d say sometimes I felt like her lines didn’t come as naturally as Hawkes did, but that’s a minor stupid complaint.
