Insanely funny and surprisingly powerful, Megamind is truly an amazing experience that is already turning 10 this year. I absolutely love its rising following.
Shrek 2 is one of the best romantic comedies of all time. You don't even need to mention it's a great animated film, that goes without saying.
Everybody will make exceptions for their favorites. The character development is subtle and a lot more fleshed out upon rewatch. The score is also tremendous and perhaps the best of any DreamWorks film.
The one that sort of started it all. To this day Shrek is still a treat and will always be more than just a meme to me.
Snappy, clever, and hilarious. Wallace & Gromit bring some of the most delightful charm to the screen with humor that is honestly better as an adult.
Flushed Away is caper comedy romp and has no need to be nothing more. It's inventive, fun and plays with Roddy's 007 alter ego both subtle and hilariously outward. The puns are also off the charts.
While I'm not affiliated with any organized religion anymore, it's refreshing to see such a grand yet humble retelling of the Exodus story.
Spirit would been the best silent animated film ever had they cut Matt Damon's invasive narration. Other than that it's a beautiful film.
While not my favorite of all time, it still manages to have some of the best animated action.
The meme movement of this film has been tremendous and died a slow painful death. Now can we appreciate this film for it's utter hilarity and intentional mediocrity?
Beautiful animation, basic story about a bad guy who doesn't like dragons.
The other B-Movie that's not the Bee Movie. Modeled after mediocre 50s sci-fi, Monsters vs Aliens is a blast. I also got to meet the associate producer when they came to my school. Fun piece of trivia, Susan is named and slightly modeled after her.
While on the predictable side it's still full of the charm that made the books so endearing.
I hate Bruce Willis and I hate Garry Shandling but I like Over the Hedge fine I guess.
8 year old me stepped out of the theater wondering what the fuck just unfolded over the course of a brisk 80 min.
