No matter what I do, no matter how hard I try, the ones I love will always be the ones who pay.  This is almost as perfect as it gets to a comic book adaptation. Everything about this just embodies Spider-Man without it feeling too over the top. Truly a movie ahead of it’s time. Without this movie I really don’t think there is an MCU; before this came out comic book movies were viewed as a joke and abit of fun and nothing else, this movie made people realise there can be genuine stories and meaningful themes that almost everyone can relate to within these ‘goofy’ superheroes. Laid the foundation for almost all the superhero and comic book movies that came after it. Every actor in this movie just fits their character so well. Nostalgia aside, I really don’t understand how people don’t have Tobey Maguire as the best Spider-Man. Everything about him as Spider-Man and Peter Parker is perfect. One of the greatest comic book movies ever.

That scene with Jake Gyllenhaal driving to the hospital needs to start being talked about as one of the greatest scenes in cinema history. ✋😐🤚

I actually couldn’t take my eyes off the screen

Brah that last 30 is heartbreaking
