very sad movie, thought it was interesting to see how this wore a facade of silliness similar to how operation avalanche did. you really buy into matt and owen’s friendship and seeing how matt spirals downward is obviously very disturbing and feels believable. i did somewhat struggle to not see him as matt johnson the filmmaker but this was really well told and tragic
