working with migrants these past two years has made this film really hit home- migrant workers are practically invisible when they are the ones that keep India's cities running. this movie also confronts the privilege that the urban upper-middle class of India holds, in which we barely even ask the name of a person painting the walls, building our houses, cleaning our roads, doing all the jobs that we deem too menial to do on our own.
