Beautiful Boy
A very poignant story about how drugs affect one and what affects it has on the people around this person.
I loved that it wasn't the "fun" parts about it, but rather the most vulnerable, troublesome, and borderline sad and disturbing things that were shown.
The acting was really great, even heartbreaking at times.
The nostalgic, melancholic nature of the cinematography really caught my eye as well. Grainy and all, no modern "pop" things.
What was a meh part was the constant cuts from present to past and to present. Sure, it did have effect (how Nic was innocent before, but started to lose himself then), but it sure was confusing. Nevertheless, still loved the film.
